Dress is exactly as pictured. Fabric is navy with cream pattern on it. Product is unlined so you may need to wear a slip under it. I am usually a S/M and took a medium but needed a small. Slit and dress are a nice length on a person 5'8"+. The size chart told me to have a medium but it is loose on the waist/chest.
