This is not a breathable material, so its description is WRONG. Also, when opening the wrapper, a very heavy smell of plasticizer hit me in the face. Plasticizers, usually some kind of phtalate, are commonly used in PVCs. I had to hang the cover outside to be able to breath comfortably inside the house. The cover is formed by stiching two layes of this chemically softened PVC together, in rather coarse stiches. Well, you get what you pay for I guess, it was worth the try ;) Be advised and buy a non-woven dust cover for indoor use, and one of the common duo tone rainproof fabric versions for outside use. They are also very affordable, and popular for a good reason.
