the chains are both very thin and look fragile, the metal used is likely sterling silver (S925) since it is engraved, but i doubt the stone is true amethyst or even a natural stone. There are no particles or cloudiness in the stone and it's fully transparent, like glass or synthetic crystal, which I'm personally ok with. I'll have it checked at a jeweller and update my review with the result!

It's a thin chain (ordered extra) but looks sturdy enough to not snap during formal wear. I wouldn't trust it to last if worn daily though
