Standard memory card (micron) in the adapter board for compatibility only with Asus. The volume corresponds to the declared (in bytes 512 and a bunch of numbers, in GB 476 GB) here everything is honest. You can separately buy an adapter for 250 rubles. And memory to choose the right brand and quality with favorable characteristics. But according to reviews, some manufacturers are very warm in work. This one in normal mode is 40 deg. But there is a suspicion, probably not in vain Asus limits memory to 256 GB. And friends do up to 2 TB. I noticed, when downloading I can not enter the BIOS (UEFI). I pull out one bar-it allows you to enter the BIOS. Before that, there were 2 native slats of 256 GB in raid and everything worked until 1 bar died after 8 years. Now raid refused, as the information was missing and on 2 bars, so transferred to IDE. At the speed of work did not notice the difference. On sale you can find native SSD for 256 GB, but as a rule they are more expensive and used and accordingly the work resource will be short or very short. Set with adapter 5100r.
