The selfie ring lights shipped really fast. I was surprised. The light itself is not terribly bright, nor was I expecting it to be with so few LEDs, but good enough to eliminate dark facial shadows for video chats.
I don't know how long the battery lasts before it starts to get dim, but the charging socket is smartly placed opposite the clip function, so it can be plugged into a USB port on my computer for longer video chat sessions. I like that there are 3 settings, cool, warm, and bright/mixed warm and cool together.
Due to center hinge placement, the maximum clip opening is 15mm. It won't stay clipped to my 27" iMac), but works fine on my laptop. If they had placed the hinge on one end instead of in the middle it would have a wider opening (basic engineering).
Overall these are better than most of the ring lights out there (I've tried quite a few), so I ended up buying a bunch as holiday stocking stuffers.

Quality is excellent for the price.
I have never owned a selfie ring light before so I cannot compare the brightness to others but I feel it is quite adequate even in a lighted room.
The hinge feels sturdy, and clamps on well.
There were a few scuff marks but nothing major.
