This is a good choice for a motor as it can control the motor's speed. The motor regulator came with the knob off and a nut in where you screw on. It was in a anti static bag when I recevied it and the shipping was very fast being only 2 weeks. Below is the photo in how they look like

I ordered 2 items and tested on LED tape. Works well. Firstly I tested on oscilloscope and I was worried because I have not seen 12v meander. But it works with real load. I hope it will long time for my LED tapes.
