High quality canvas material, sewn well. That is not very much-bag holds its shape, since it does not have the plotniteley in walls and sides (or whatever it is properly called the parts?). Seal is a bottom-touch something like PVC. Didn't notice when you order (although the photo in the have) that zipper enclosing a left-hander.

The bag is sewn neatly, the color is really black, not dark gray. When primary unpacking, no smell was present. Pockets are not enough, but a netbook and a folder with documents are easily placed. I recommend to buy, personally I'm very pleased.
