They are 3d, but pretty flat. In reality 'black' is more black than in seller's pictures and thr edges are embroidered with a silverish thread. They're pretty ok, but I expected something more dull. I would like to note that at the time of my shopping there was some kind of discount, but you couldn't buy more than one item. It wasn't written anywhere, but you couldn't proceed to checkout if having more than one.
