It does not become better inside: the foam that was supposed to shield the product from damage was bound loosely, thus being separate from the plastic box with the filter. The filter itself is an example of poor manufacture. The ring that holds the glass in place came loose, what made the entire piece shake loosely in its frame. Even after applying pressure to snap the ring back in place, the glass will not make a good fit, still shaking around. Speaking about the glass, it is absolutely not a 720 nm filter at all! Looking at comparison photographs, I would assume it is in fact a 690 nm one. If I were to recommend a cheap IR filter, I would definitely advise to avoid the ones sold by this seller.
