Recommendations on installation from my experience for those who live in major cities. 1. if you do not need to receive medium waves, then between the antenna and the amplifier be sure to install a band FM filter, because the amplifier increases frequencies and beyond the FM range (including unwanted interference). 2. high efficiency of the amplifier is achieved only in areas of unsure reception (where there are no powerful transmitters). In large cities, its installation can even worsen the reception, due to the overload of the entrance cascade of the car receiver! Also do not forget physics-the best amplifier is a good external tuned antenna, and then already amplification of signals!
