I've just tested it today on the battery pack I made of old laptop batteries. I made 3p3s pack. when I first charged them, they all looked good. But when I tested them with this tool, I realised one battery was dead, the other had 900mohm, almost 1ohm, and the other had 57mohm. If I had used them the way they were, all would be dead at no time. Now I can test them and match them. Some pictures show probs with single prong, while others show probs with twin prongs. the single prong one is sm8124 while twin prong one is sm8124A. I got the SM8124A. According to budgetlightforums, this one is slightly more accurate, but is little difficult to use on buttontop li-ions or rechargble AA batteries since the space between the prongs is wider then the positive side of the battery. Order it according to your needs. Shipping is fast enough.
After testing 60 or so batteries, the battery of the tool went down. It uses to much battery power when testing. I will try using 5V to 9V booster and USB power bank.

Interesting device. It's cheap, but cheaper than anywhere. The four-wire scheme minimizes errors, it's great. I checked all my batteries on the cameras, because on the AA batteries I already have five Chargers-testers, but on those that 7-9 volts give out, there was none. Great! Now I know what I'm dead.

meter provide very strange results, seller just refused any issue and blamed me for misusage. But the simply truth is that measuring is NOT accurate. Just switching between measuring range cause 20% difference!!!
