I use for massage, smell like other basic oils. Before that I ordered grape seed oil and jojoba. Maybe there are differences, but I did not understand the difference. Absorbed better than normal massage oil and thicker, I would say less slippery to the touch. Very good as cosmetic. Can add 1-2 drops of essential oil
