The adapters did not functions - I opened them and found the crystal was missing. Seller claimed they had internal crystals, which I do not is the fact. Some Ch340 chips might have internal oscillators, but this one has markings removed, so I do not know what is the type. I tested it again by directly replacing the same type of adapter in working automation system with rs485/modbus and it stopped working. This proves this one is not functioning. I'n very disappointed - I wasted a lot of time for my projects and had to order from another seller. It is good that I got my refund at least.

While waiting for delivery, the adapter was no longer needed. I take not the first time, it works like an industrial interface converter, only costs 50 times cheaper. From the minuses, not put on the terminals of the power point, and on the board there is no place for additional parts, so the soldering iron has to work aggressively.

The adapter was packed in a regular yellow package, what extra protection was missing. As a result, the protruding part of the board with the connector is delayed. The adapter is damaged but is workable. I do not recommend to buy from this seller. All damage can be seen in the photo
