Excellent filter! The body of metal, is 2 connected rings. One with a thread that is screwed on the lens, in the other ring the filter itself-freely rotates. In normal mode, slightly gray, I.E. By comparison with polarizing glasses is very light. Visually, the usual picture does not strongly obscure. But if you direct to the TV and turn the ring so that the axis of the polarizer was perpendicular to the polarization of the light of the TV (LCD), then darkens it to 0 (black, as if off).
This filter is mainly used for example to shoot fish through the water surface-it completely removes glare. When I shot the aquarium it seems that there is no water in it at all. Also help in other situations to muffle the rays reflected from the surface (e.g. from asphalt or glass)
