I do a lot of 2D and increasingly 3D graphics creation work and frankly bought this out of curiosity. I have several workstations and this chip replaced a 4 core FX version in one of them. Sure, I read the "technical reviews" in the press which would seem to say that the Intel processors are the only ones to have...However, if you ignore lab bench tests and look at things in the real world, the important thing when building your own PC is to create a balanced system focused on what you are going to use it for, and in this sense, this 8 core system performs as well if not marginally better

The processor is great. I have it overclocked to 4.0 and it runs perfectly. I get 60 fps in GTA 5 on high settings with an Rx 460. The only Con is the heat sink, it's awful doesn't cool well, and is louder than an airplane. Would recommend getting a hyper T2 or T4 to replace it. Item propmtly arrived.
