The chainsaw was delivered within the estimated time and in good condition.
This unit was to replace one from Amazon that burnt out on it's first outing, which came with 2 x 2Ah batteries, so I was hoping that this bare unit would accept those batteries, but the the pictures show 2 different versions, the 2Ah version and the Makita style 4Ah battery version, I also have one of those, so it's a 50/50 toss up which one it would be.
The fitting is actually for the Makita style 4Ah battery, so to enable the use of the 2 surplus batteries I have it was an easy task to replace the whole battery connector block, which lifts away complete from the handle, with the one from the burnt out unit, job sorted.
On the other two Mini Chainsaws I have, the chain guide plates have a plane nose, this one has the much better lower friction roller type nose, weyhey, excellent.
