The board was broken, there was a short circuit from USB power to the interface, but worked out the built-in protection while maintaining the performance of the components and turning off the connector for a long time. I am running Ubuntu server provided by Xulong without issue. I drilled holes and attached a modified 3x3cm fan which can be turned on or off depending on board temperature using GPIO. It makes a big difference, idle board temp is around 65degC (with heat sinks on processor, ram and pcu modules) with fan on, I can bring it down to 48. The 1GB ram is utilised well by the OS, I only use 35-50%. I am using the OPi as a vpn server and file server and dns sinkhole, for automatic backup of data. The SoC is still not fully supported by mainline kernel so GPU won't work, all is done by cpu. Also cpu scaling won't work , its either 400mhz or 1.5hgz. But overall it is a high performance board, useful for my needs. Thanks.

Я запускаю Ubuntu сервер, предоставленный Xulong без проблем. Я просверливал отверстия и прикрепил модифицированный вентилятор 3x3 см, который можно включить или выключить в зависимости от температуры платы с помощью GPIO. Это имеет большое отличие, температура холостого хода платы составляет около 65 градусов (с радиаторами на процессоре, ОЗУ и pcu модулями) с вентилятором, я могу снизить ее до 48.
