On first inspection hair is soft and there's no weird smells. They even gave me a 13x6 instead of a 13x4. Disappointed though that there's still quite a few short hairs and red ones as well, and it's most noticeable on the frontal. Hair is true to length, no shedding fresh out the box. Remained soft after washing. We'll see how it installs
